   • Establish clear boundaries on where art materials can be used and stored at home. Trust me on this.. I still have paint on my lovey couch.

For instance, my son transitioned from building Legos, to designing graphics in software like Photoshop, while my daughter enjoys crafting, and always comes back to drawing and painting. Allow your children the freedom to try different hobbies; some will stick, while others may not. Just try to relax, let them explore, and enjoy the journey together! Sometimes our parenting homeschool goals will be side stepped, and thats OK. Each year brings new interest and maybe you just need to circle back to that stored art supplies later.
