The first art supply babies or toddlers usually explore with are crayons. There’s many reasons for this. One, they are safe and non-toxic incase toddlers try to put them in their mouth. Second, they are easy for toddlers to use while developing fine-motor skills. Crayons glide and make color marks without too much hand Strength. Thirdly, you can get a large variety of colors for a minimal cost in many different shapes. Forth, safe non-toxic crayons for toddlers can come in chucky shapes making it easy for beginner artist to grasp. And finally, crayons are washable and don’t stain clothes or furniture.
Many years ago I started handcrafting my own crayons in unique square block shapes for my own two children and young art students. I started experimenting with making different shapes which then led me to invent the square block crayon. Why 1st baby square crayons are safe
Square block crayons are large and chunky shapes that are easy for kids to grasp. Square block crayons won’t roll off the table at all. These are the best crayons because they create wide areas of colors. Babies love stacking and playing with crayons just like stacking blocks. My square block crayons make beautiful coloring marks because of the unique mixing technique I use. Best of all they are safe and made only with non-toxic wax and pigments for babies. Wax can be ordered in beeswax, soy wax, and recycled crayon wax. These crayons are truly earth-friendly for kids and for the environment. Best of all they are handcrafted with an artisan color mixing technique by me.
